Four days later, an important milestone: Brianna leaves town for a solo camping trip and entrusts her cats, Simon and Garfunkel, to Will. The cats survive, as does the relationship.

The pair attend two different weddings in the same weekend. An idea begins to form somewhere in the back of Will’s mind…

Another important milestone: Bri and her parents are all indisposed so Will takes Tyler for their first one-on-one hangout. Afterwards, Tyler still approves. Once again, disaster is averted.

Will and his roommate and friend, Ami, complete work on Bri’s first Christmas present – a quilt she still loves today.

Covid hits. A decision must be made. Will moves in. The cats do not object.

Will & Brianna escape to St Augustine for Will’s birthday. It’s magical despite the raging pandemic.

Brianna is brought onto the Tampa Fringe team. Will, Brianna, and other members of the team debut an enormous undertaking in the digital fringe festival.

The couple purchase their first shared couch from Ikea. The relationship survives the process of assembling flat-pack furniture.

Will orders Brianna’s engagement ring. She absolutely loves it! Will was unbelievable happy with the service, quality, and the entire experience of working with Camellia Arts to make this special moment happen!

Will is invited to spend Christmas week with Brianna and her family at Fort DeSoto State Park for a camping holiday. Shortly after the trip, Brianna must leave town. While she is away, Will is hospitalized.

Will is released from hospital.

Will proposes to Brianna at the Dali museum during the Van Gogh Alive exhibit. She says YES!

Cordelia comes home to live with Brianna and Will. It is love at first sight.

Will is released with a good prognosis. Twelve hours later, Brianna takes him back with pain and delirium. Another surgery ensues. More time in hospital. More surgeries. Brianna is steadfast in her love and devotion.

Will comes home, weak as a kitten. Despite having to care for him hand and foot for weeks and weeks, Brianna never wavers. She is a saint and angel combined. A saingel, if you will.

Despite all the difficulties, Brianna throws the most swank surprise engagement party imaginable. Will is beside himself with happiness.

Will is re-admitted at the VA hospital for yet another surgery. Upon his return home, the animals all surround him and shower him with love.
